Lead designer on the world’s biggest crane at radius used for the construction of nuclear power plants, with a lift capacity of 7,500 tons,15 million pounds or 681 school buses.

Developed initial design concept with lead engineer.

Managed design team consisting of 5 in-house designers and 4 outside consultants.

Responsible for developing project organization, part numbering scheme and standard operating procedures.

Collaborated with engineers, foundries and fabricators to optimize design of castings and steel fabrications.

Created digital prototypes to optimize final part and assembly designs.

Responsible for review and approval of 2D CAD drawings.
