Designer and on-site project supervisor for removal of 500 ton electric generator.

 

  • Design of overhead lift system to remove generator.

  • Design of lower runway system for transport the generator out of the building.

  • Logistical planning of project scope, fleet equipment selection and critical onsite project evolutions.

  • On-site project supervisor to coordinate and lead project for 4 weeks with team of 20 people.

  • Implemented project plan with emphasis on safety (OSHA).

Robinson Nuclear Power Plant

Designer and on-site project supervisor for removal and installation of a nuclear reactor head.

 

  • Designed layout for the removal of old, installation of new and transport of 300,000 pound nuclear reactor head.

  • Developed a system that was low profile to remove the reactor head from the 17 foot diameter hatch. The reactor head had a 15 foot outside diameter.

  • Designed layout of elevated runway system

  • Created drawings for all fabrication work to be done for the system
